Officially going to the UK in October. Saving, saving, saving….
Here’s where I lived back in summer 2007 in Notting Hill (or North Kensington as I knew it). I rented from the lovely couple who lived on the bottom floor. The address is wrong b/c as always Google maps is wrong about where a house is when you hit street view. That said, I just searched up the street from where it told me the original location was. Sure enough I found it. The flowers are in bloom!
I’ll never forget learning how to take a bath… with a sprayer since there was no shower. And there was no curtain in my bathroom window that looked out into the main rooms of the apartment so my roommates subsequently saw my backside at least once a day. It was better than having the bath in my room as my other two roomies had. I’m not really into exhibitionism.
I know I’m landing in London for a bit, probably going out to Bath, Bristol, Liverpool… and I might head up to Scotland or at least check out some of Wales. Not sure yet, really. I’m still in the early stages on planning, but I’m glad to be planning.
